The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"So there I am swanning around South America with the Kings Of Chaos. Beautiful weather in Paraguay and Mexico and I fly home to wind, rain and flooding. Welcome to the great British winter everybody and welcome to the Joe Elliott show right here on Planet Rock. So for the next 60 minutes gonna try and warm everybody up with some great music. Some old, some new, couple more live tracks thrown in that I couldn't feature on the live extravaganza of a couple of weeks ago. But this week gonna start the show off with brand new Paul McCartney."

Rush

"So anybody listening remember the first ever tour that Rush did of the UK?. Well I certainly do because I was there. I was at the very first gig that they ever played in the UK. It was at the Sheffield City Hall in June of 1976 and they played that particular song. That's Bastille Day from the album All The World's A Stage." - (1st June 1976)

Show Outro

"Which brings us nicely to the end of this week's show. I shall be back with you next week at the same time. Until then I'm gonna leave you with this. Brand new music from my mate Phil and his band Manraze. This is the lead off track from their new EP. A song called Surrender. Until next week see ya!."
