Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has been interviewed by GMI Rock News and talked about this years 30th anniversary of the classic 1983 Pyromania album.
Joe talked about the band's refusal to allow a 30th anniversary release to take place having put out the Deluxe Edition already in 2009.
A line at the end of the article says "working on material for a new album". This differs from Vivian's recent comments when he stated there is still "division" between the band members on new music and how it will be released.
You can read the full text of Joe's quotes via the link to WCSX radio and hear them as short audio clips.
GMI Rock News- Joe Elliott Interview Quote
"The cupboard's bare. There's nothing left. They wanted to do a 30th anniversary re-release of 'Pyromania' and we just said absolutely not...If somebody wants 'Pyromania Deluxe,' it's already out there. We celebrated after 25 years. We don't need to do it again after 30."
Pretty sure Joe Elliott from Def Leppard doesn't give a s**t http://t.co/MgLkpIorQL @def_leppard
