On This Day in Def Leppard History - 17th September, the following concerts and events took place. Including headlining the annual KGB-FM 101 Sky Show at Jack Murphy Stadium in San Diego at the end of the US Pyromania tour.

55,000 people attended the show which also featured Eddie Money, Uriah Heep and Motley Crue. It was the band's first ever headline show in an outdoor stadium.
