Def Leppard members Joe Elliott, Rick Savage and Rick Allen were interviewed by Joy Zine in 1989 as the band prepared the follow up to the Hysteria album.
The classic interview is available to read on the Joy Zine website. They talked about the ending of the Hysteria world tour, guesting with Bon Jovi in Dublin/how they met, dealing with overenthusiastic fans, the plans for the album that would eventually become 'Adrenalize', their thoughts on bands doing cover versions/using outside writers, the state of rock music, fellow rock bands and playing with other artists.
The interview also contains an interesting end quote from Rick Allen.
