Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has said the band will work on its next album during the 2013 VIVA Hysteria! residency in Las Vegas.
Joe shared the news as part of the press release for the Vegas shows. This is the latest mention of new music by a band member following many from Phil and Vivian over the last two years.
It also ties in with comments by Vivian that the band would be recording new music in Spring 2013.

Elliott says the band plans to use its days off between shows to write material for its next album.
"The downtime will not go to waste," he says. "Two of the guys in the band live in Dublin and the other three live in California. This is a great opportunity for a band that has decided to live all over the world to be in one room at one time, to look each other in the eyes and to come up with ideas."
