Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen has contributed to the new Steve Lukather solo album Transition due out in January 2013.
Phil contributed backing vocals for the album which has been co-produced by his writing partner C.J. Vanston.
Phil and C. J. were also involved on Steve's last solo album "All's Well That Ends Well" in 2010 when Phil co-wrote two songs (Can't Look Back/Don't Say It's Over) with C. J. and Steve. He also sang backing vocals and played guest guitar parts.
The album is scheduled for release on 21st January 2013 on Mascot Records.
