Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen was interviewed a few days ago on the Todd 'n' Tyler show and said the band will rehearse new and older songs for the 2012 tour.
Phil was promoting the 21st July show in Omaha, NE. This follows up his comments earlier this week that the band would play some of the Hysteria album tracks live in 2012 as well as 'It's All About Believin'.
In a seven minute interview Phil talked about fitness/health, weight loss on stage, how the tour with Poison/Lita Ford came about, collaborating with Bret Michaels/Lita Ford, painting a 10 foot Fender guitar, the Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame, Manraze and the new single 'Closer To Me', rehearsing for the tour/getting the new stage ready, putting new and older songs into the 2012 setlist.
Todd 'n' Tyler - Phil Collen Interview Quote
"I think this year we're gonna have a little longer because we're gonna put some new songs in and some songs we haven't played for years. We're gonna dust a few off, so a little bit more rehearsing."
