Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed on 24th April by Metal Eye Witness whilst on tour in Argentina with the Rock n Roll All-Stars.
Joe was asked how his involvement in the Rock n Roll All-Stars tour came about, how the tour was going, playing a Johnny Thunders song with Duff McKagan, why he's been involved with so many cover version projects with and without Def Leppard, his British Glam Rock influence, the NWOBHM tag, the First Strike bootleg album, the term 'heavy metal', a potential visit by Def Leppard to Argentina in October, new music, the 2012 tour and the Rock Of Ages movie premiere.

You're coming to Argentina with Def Leppard in October I understand?
"There's rumours yeah. There's nothing specifically in place but it's the first time in 15 years that it's been discussed."
Is there a new record to support the future tour?
"No, we're still promoting the Mirrorball album, we've been promoting it since June. We finished in Britain on - Christmas - December and we're just picking up again in May. So we like to take a bit of time off because everybody's got family commitments, especially over the winter time with school and stuff like that. So we work and we're also preparing for the Rock Of Ages movie that's coming out."
The Rock Of Ages movie?
"Well that comes out on the 8th June and you know just by beautiful coincidence our opening acts for the tour are Lita Ford and Poison who've bot got songs in the film. And they've asked us to play at the premiere, so that's a great way for us to launch the tour. And then we start in Salt Lake City about a week later."
