On This Day in Def Leppard History - 16th February, the following concerts and events took place. Including the birth of ex-guitarist Pete Willis in 1960 who celebrates his 52nd birthday today. The band only played one show on his birthday in Aylesbury 1980 when he turned 20.
Also on this day in 1989 Steve Clark played with Def Leppard for the last time in England when the band performed 'Rocket' on Top Of The Pops. This show was taped the day before and the single was at Number 20 in the charts. It climbed up a further five places to 15 after this appearance. Sadly, they only showed the first 2:39mins of the song.
