The Joe Elliott Show - Quote
The Greedies
"A classic combination just like the Queen's speech and falling asleep on the couch. That is Thin Lizzy and the Sex Pistols aka The Greedies with A Merry Jingle."
The Strypes
"That's an old 60's RnB number that's been covered by Bowie on The Pinups album back in '73. It was a hit for The Yardbirds in the 60's. The song's called I Wish You Would. What's remarkable about that version is the band. The band are called The Strypes. And that's Strypes with a Y. From an E.P. called Young, Gifted and Blue. The average age of those guys is 15 years old. So between the four of them they're 60. Which is only 9 years younger than Keith Richards himself, Unbelievable, keep an eye out for that band The Strypes."
