Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen has been interviewed by The MetroWest Daily News ahead of the show in Mansfield/Boston.
Phil talked about joining the band 30 years ago, getting his first guitar, not drinking any more, the Rock Of Ages movie, the 2012 setlist and making new music and touring in 2013. The mention of 'select gigs' next year seems to tie in (perhaps) with recent talk from Joe and Vivian that the band are in talks to play a residency of 'album shows' in Las Vegas.
The band play in Mansfield, MA tomorrow night.
The MetroWest Daily News - Phil Collen Interview Quote
Known for never slowing down, the band is already working on new songs that they intend to record and release next year, while also doing some select gigs.
"I like the idea of recording a bit in the studio, then playing out a bit more," said Collen. "I think you get more inspired doing it that way."
