Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has been interviewed by The Virginian-Pilot ahead of the show in Virginia Beach.
Joe talked about the re-recordings of PSSOM/ROA and the issues they have with their old record label. Interestingly (or not) this interview also includes a comment on the situation from a spokesman for the label.
The band play in Virginia Beach, VA on 12th August.

Universal spokesman Peter Lofrumento said in an email, "Universal Music has been actively engaged with the band over the last several months hoping to reach an agreement as quickly as possible. They've offered the band a highly competitive deal that is on par with what their global superstar artists already receive."
Elliott said that he doesn't want to go to "war" and hopes Universal and Def Leppard can reach a new agreement. If not, band members are prepared to re-record in their spare time.
