News - Def Leppard In Talks To Play Album Shows In Las Vegas

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell has told fans that the band are in talks to play full length album shows in Las Vegas.

Vivian was responding to fan questions about the possibility of playing more album tracks from the 'Hysteria' and 'Adrenalize' albums. He also suggested the band would play such shows elsewhere once they had done some in Vegas (London?, Sheffield?).

There was no specific timetable given for when this might happen but seeing as the current tour ends (as of right now) in September, not likely until next year at the earliest.

2011 UK Tour mates Motley Crue played a short residency in the city in February this year and have just confirmed plans to go back again next year.

As for which albums the band might play in full? Well, you'd have to say 'Hysteria', 'Pyromania', 'Adrenalize' and 'High 'n' Dry' would be the first to be considered. And also the ones that would help sell all the tickets. A recent Motley Crue quote said they sold out the 4,000 seat The Joint venue in Vegas for 12 shows and had been invited back.

Will Def Leppard play any of the less played songs on hysteria and Adrenalize live anytime soon?

"Talks under way to do special 'album shows' in Las Vegas at sometime in future."

"Once we would have such shows under our belt, it would certainly be a lot more feasible to consider doing them elsewhere, too."
