Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed on today's edition of the Mornings Rock Show on CHOM 97.7 radio in Montreal, Canada.
Joe was promoting the upcoming show on 16th July at the Bell Centre.
In the six minute phone interview (recorded yesterday) he talked to DJs Terry & Heather B about how old he was when the band started off in Sheffield, starting out at the same time as the British Punk scene, how the band dealt with reproducing the Mutt Lange produced material live, whether he still has fun playing live, the setlist for the Montreal show (no details) and the Montreal crowd. Heather B also shared with Joe that she sings PSSOM at Karaoke.

Did you worry about being able to reproduce Mutt Lange material live?
"Yeah, we did for a while because by the time - you see the one thing about us is we always realised. And always were well capable of accepting the fact that they're two separate entities. We were into trying to make records that would last forever. Not just be a part of the product that would like get us through this year until the next album's done. We were playing in the big leagues and we wanted to be kind of nose to nose with Dark Side Of The Moon or (Led) Zeppelin Four."
DJ Heather B - "My go to Karaoke song is Pour Some Sugar On Me". How do you feel about that?
"That's a good choice!. Actually most people tell me that they pole dance to it. Pole dancing Karaoke would be a good thing."
"No, it's an absolute compliment. The fact that people murder it makes me sound better!."
