Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen was interviewed by Iron City Rocks for their 150th podcast.
Phil talked about Manraze, Def Leppard's vocal harmonies, how the band keep the greatest hits fresh sounding at live shows, using Pro Tools in the studio, recording guitars on a laptop, recording new material, Manraze live plans, the tour with Poison/Lita Ford, working with Bret Michaels and health and fitness. "We're talking about the next album and we were talking about maybe a song or an EP. But in the meantime if we do release an EP, we're gonna be working on a new album. So we're gonna do it in dribs and drabs. That's the way to do it really because we wanna tour, we wanna keep because everything's so disposable these days we just wanna keep our foot in there and keep a live presence. But I think the way round that is to do songs here and there and I love the way The Beatles, The Stones - they used to write a song, record it and release it and not worry about waiting for a full length album. I like that approach."
