There are 6 days to go until Def Leppard begin their 2011 UK Tour with Motley Crue in Birmingham.
The sixth UK headline tour by Def Leppard took place in 1996 to promote the 'Slang' album. The band played ten full shows across the UK and Ireland kicking off in their home city of Sheffield which was recorded and broadcast on BBC Radio 1.
The tour finished with two nights at Wembley Arena in London. The setlist included a few rare plays of 'Slang' album track 'Turn To Dust'. This song and other rarities were played at an extra show for contest winners in Exeter. Other rare tracks played that night included 'Billy's Got A Gun', 'High 'N' Dry (Saturday Night)' and 'Gift Of Flesh'.
