There are 7 days to go until Def Leppard begin their 2011 UK Tour with Motley Crue in Birmingham.
The fifth UK headline tour by Def Leppard took place in 1992/1993 over two legs to promote the 'Adrenalize' album. The band played ten In The Round shows throughout June/July after a couple of warm-up dates to break in new guitarist Vivian Campbell. The tour included two sold out nights at the prestigious Earls Court Arena as well as two nights at Sheffield Arena and three at the NEC in Birmingham. The tour remains the peak of their UK success and the best live show they've ever put on.
This was the first time the band had used their In The Round set up in the UK and Ireland. They then returned to their hometown of Sheffield in June 1993 for their first ever UK headlining stadium show at Don Valley.
