There are 9 days to go until Def Leppard begin their 2011 UK Tour with Motley Crue in Birmingham.
The third UK headline tour by Def Leppard took place in 1983 over two legs to promote the 'Pyromania' album. The band played a total of 15 shows throughout February, March and December including two shows at Hammersmith Odeon.
Following warm up shows in London and Dublin the tour kicked off in Belfast and made it's way to England/Scotland after some European dates. One show in Nottingham was postponed from March until their second UK leg in December. These shows were the first to feature new guitarist Phil Collen alongside Steve Clark in what would become the band's most successful and best known line up.
