Phil Collen has been interviewed by Adelaide Now to promote the upcoming Australian Mirrorball tour.

Phil talks about Mirrorball, touring and writing new songs. He also suggests the next album may not be released in 2012.

But those hoping to hear a whole long player from the guys will have to wait a little bit longer than expected.

"Probably not next year (he says of a new album) but there's always writing going on," Collen says.

"With the songs that made it on to Mirrorball, we weren't specifically writing for an album. We were just writing and I think there's a different motivation.
