The venue is located 6.6 miles to the West of Wheatland, CA.

Wheatland is 40 miles to the North of the city centre of Sacramento.

It was opened in June 2000 as Sacramento Valley Amphitheatre.

From 2002 to 2003 it was known as AutoWest Amphitheatre.

From 2003 to 2015 it was known as Sleep Train Amphitheatre.

Since 2015 it has been called Toyota Amphitheatre.

Phil Collen, Ross Valory and Jonathan Cain once more played with Stoll Vaughan on his song 'Alright'.

A decent quality audience recording exists from this show.
