Grand Rapids, MI - Fan Reviews

Fan Review - By Debbie

Well, the Grand Rapids show was the best I have seen yet. The guys came out with a bang. The pyros were impressive. I am happy they had the screens up, as it is nice to be able to go back and forth between the guys and the see all of the nostalgia the screens hold. They were all full of energy, which seems to be never ending. The crowd interaction of course was fantastic. Viv and Phil changed their shirts quite often, unless Phil had his off. Joe had a Detroit Tigers t-shirt on at the end of the show. And Malvin was wearing a Tigers baseball cap. Nothing like a little support for the home team. Go Tigers! Sav's bass solo was better than ever. It was nice to have a little bit of change in the set list. We got to hear MLLAM, which the fans loved. I was amazed that not many people knew the words to 20th Century Boy, considering it is an older song. It was so much fun. It was worth the 2 1/2 hour drive there, and even the migraine that set in while on my way.

There were 4 sisters sitting in front of us, that amongst them like both bands. It was nice to see them rocking out and having a great time too. I met up with some old friends and new friends and can't wait to do it all over again.

The best was actually yet to come at the end of the night. We went out by where the buses were, and within half an hour Rick came out, followed by the Bass God, Sav! Next came Joe and then Phil and Viv. That was the first time I have seen all 5 Leppards come out and sign autographs and take pictures. When we mentioned to Malvin that we hadn't any luck finding the special edition Hysteria, he was not too happy. I checked 2 stores in MI and one in IN, and no luck. Thanks guys for a very memorable night! See you next time!!!!
