  • Location / Schaumburg, IL, USA
  • Venue / Alexian Field
  • Event / Rock 'N Roll Double Header Tour

The first show by the band in this suburb of Chicago since July 1980 on the On through The Night tour.

The first time at this venue.

The venue is located 4.8 miles to the South West of the centre of Schaumburg.

It was opened in May 1999 as Schaumburg Baseball Stadium.

From 2000 to 2011 it was known as Alexian Field.

Since 2011 it has been called Boomers Stadium.

Singer Richard Marx, who played with the band at Madison Square Garden in 1992, reportedly attended the show with his sons.

It was also apparently the first show here to sell out.

As with other shows where Def Leppard played before Bryan Adams, the album backdrop was used in place of the video screen.

The July 1980 show in this suburb was their first ever in North American as a headline act.

A decent quality audience recording exists for this show.
