It was opened in October 1926 as Multnomah Stadium until 1965 when it became Civic Stadium.

From 2001 to 2010 it was renamed as PGE Park and then Jeld-Wen Field from 2011 to 2014 before the current name of Providence Park.

The opening show of the 2005 Rock Of Ages 'Rock 'n' Roll Doulble Header' tour with co-headliner Bryan Adams.

The band last played this city in September 1996 on the Slang tour for a radio sponsored concert.

The band played 'Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad' for the first time since the Slang tour.

A small video screen was used behind Rick's drums showing live images and animation during the show.
