Columbus, OH - Fan Reviews

Fan Review - By Arielle

The show last night was absolutely wonderful. I thought Def Leppard gave a flawless performance. This was my second time seeing them (the first time being back in June where they also put on a amazing show) and I can't even tell you how incredible I thought it was. I was very giddy and excited about the whole thing (Rick Allen even had on one of the Def Leppard shirts that I have). Their playing was fantastic, Joe Elliott sings like no one else can. He was running all over the place and picking up the microphone, holding it upside down in one hand. Running from one side of the stage to the other. He really got the audience worked up.

By the end of "Rock of Ages", they left and everyone went absolutely wild, screaming, applauding, everything. So of course they came out and did their usual encore of "Bringin' On The Heartbreak" and "Pour Some Sugar On Me".

If they messed up on any part at all, you'd never know. They were that good. Like I said, their performance was virtually flawless. Everything was worth it. We (my mom and myself) drove two or more hours to get to the show and didn't get home until nearly two in the morning (on a school night), and I also got beer spilled in my hair and on the back of my shirt by two (well, only one of them did it, but they were together) very inebriated and insanely obnoxious women. But in spite of that, I'd go and do it again in a heartbeat. Cheap Trick, who I must confess, I'm not overly fond of, but I don't exactly dislike either, also put on a very good performance as did Ricky Warwick. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would probably have to go and rate that show a 1000. Really wonderful. Everyone had a wonderful time. I would assume that anyway, how could they not have?.
