  • Location / Newcastle, England
  • Venue / Newcastle City Hall

The first show by the band in this city since November 1996 on the Slang tour.

The fourth time at this venue.

The venue is located in the centre of the city and not far from the Newcastle United football ground St. James' Park and on the north side of the River Tyne.

It was opened in 1927 and is currently known as the O2 City Hall Newcastle.

It has hosted concerts from at least 1957 onwards.

Joe and Phil were interviewed by a local radio station before the show. Phil Collen teased the crowd with the opening riff of 'Wasted' half way through the show but it was not played in full.

The setlist was changed again at this show with 'BOTH', 'Switch 625' and 'TLFL' all returning and 'Rock! Rock!' and 'Foolin'' both dropped.

A very good audience recording exists for this show.
