Atlantic City, NJ - Fan Reviews

Fan Review - By Blades

This show ROCKED! This was the 4th Lep show I've seen on this tour and it was by far the best. The Borgata Event Center is a great room (seats 2400) and the acoustics were excellent.

Ricky Warwick was well-received as always and played a great set.

The Leps came on a little before 9 pm and the place went berserk! Before the end of the 2nd tune, a good number of people went down to the front & security was cool. As long as the aisles were not blocked; they allowed everyone to stand there.

They played the HND set but left out LLWTG & yes, they added the extra encore song between Love Bites & Let's Get Rocked.

It was the Badfinger tune "No Matter What" & they played it perfectly. What an awesome treat. The band was tight throughout & the crowd ROARED its approval all nite long as even Joe made the comment - "My you're a noisy lot!".

All in all a great night and an equally great show. The Leps proved yet again, big audience or small - they've still got what it takes!

What a show! we saw them in April in Philly but the intimate experience at the Borgata was far and away the better way to watch a concert.

We were about 20 feet from the stage and believe me the place was going crazy. The band really seemed to enjoy playing in such an intimate venue. Nobody works a crowd like Joe and the band sounded better than ever. They played for nearly 2.5 hrs straight and never missed a beat. don't be surprised to see them do this type of venue again....awesome!.

What an incredible night! It started with Ricky Warwick and his talented singing. He does a great job and it's no wonder Joe took an interest in promoting him. But, it was Joe and the guys everyone was really waiting to see and they sure didn't disappoint us. They rocked the night from the beginning of the show till the end. They played such a great mix of songs and it seems as though everyone in the place knew the words to every song. Joe's voice was as strong as ever and Phil, Viv, Rick and Rick were at the top of there form.

The Borgata was the smallest venue I have ever seen a concert at but it sure added to the intimacy of the show. We were in the 2nd row a foot from the stage and it was just amazing. I love the song LLWTG and had the pleasure of hearing them perform it in Virginia last month, but this show they didn't perform it but....we got another treat instead.

During the encore Joe told us he was going to do a song they had never in their history of performing done live. They did Badfingers "No Matter What" and it was fantastic. Of course Joe's rendition of "Fly me to the moon" was a classic also! Joe ended the show with a statement similar to what follows....."Until next time, and there WILL be a next time, don't forget about us, and we won't forget about you." How could we forget about them?? They just keep us coming back for more. Can't wait till the next time!.

This concert was going to be the closest I had ever been for DL and I was beyond excited. I have always been a huge Phil fan but tonight I was on the VIV side and man he blew us away.

They started the night with a High and Dry set, it was awesome. I had never been close enough to really hear and see Viv do Switch 625 and it was very impressive. The night seems like such a blurr they of course did Foolin', Photograph and Rock of Ages. A little Frank Sinatra too, Joe sounded pretty good doing it too, but please stick with the rock not cabaret.

The night ended with a great Encore as you know. I think Joe was a little surprised so many knew the words to No Matter What.

Afterwards I had the meet and greet with Rick Allen and it was a dream come true. I mean to meet the man who helped me find hope in my youth and to hear so much about a wonderful organization as Raven Drum. Let's hope they keep up the good work. Rock on DL you are the best.

What an awesome show! Everyone rushed the stage as soon as Disintegrate started playing. My friends and I were right in front of Vivian. He is quite an entertaining man. It was funny watching him throw a pick in the air for the millionth time and missing it. The cover they did of Badfinger's No Matter What was a wonderful surprise and it sounded great.

This was a 21 year dream come true. Not only did I get to watch the Lepps rock the house from the front of the stage with a group of friends but had the privilege of meeting Rick Allen at the meet n greet afterwards. Rick and his fiancee Lauren are two of the nicest people I have ever met. Vivian Campbell and Joe Elliott also took pictures signed autographs and chatted for a bit. Thanks guys for a night I will never forget!.
