New York, NY - Fan Reviews

Fan Review - By Lisa

I waited in line outside Irving Plaza for about 6hrs in 100 degree heat and 100% humidity. They let us in at 8:00pm. I was in the front row right in front of where Sav usually is onstage. They were playing the entire X CD over the PA while the final equipment checks were being done behind a screen, covering up the stage. Mind you, the CD hadn't been released anywhere yet.

The crowd appeared to be mainly people in their 30's and 40's. The band took the stage at about 9:10pm. Joe cleared his throat and said, "Do you wanna get rocked?" They then, of course, launched into Let's Get Rocked. From the opening song to the encore of Rock! Rock!, the crowd sang along, sometimes completely drowning out the band's vocals. The audience wasn't as loud with the singing during Now, but then like I said, the CD hadn't been released yet. The song still got thunderous applause at the end though.

The band danced around during the entire show (even though it was also 100 degrees INSIDE the club!), which I believe lasted between 1 and 1 1/2 hrs. They're all still in great shape. Sav and Viv even did a little head banging during the encore. From the looks of them, you would've thought they were still 20 years old. All of them had huge grins on their faces. You could tell, this is where it's at for them! Musically, physically, and vocally they sounded awesome. I can't wait for the tour to start!.
