Las Vegas, NV - Fan Reviews

Fan Review - By Lisa

I have one word for how the show was......AWESOME! The guys were really rockin'! Ricky Warwick opened for the Leps and I actually liked his songs. One in particular was pretty good, don't know the name of it though. It was something like "Three Sides to Every Story." The last song I wasn't too thrilled with so I went outside to get some air and low and behold there were the Leps tour buses. I just kept thinking so close and yet so far! There was a drawing for a backstage pass during the intermission by some "save the pigs foundation" or something and I was one number off!!!! I nearly fainted as you can imagine when all the numbers were coming up for me, until the very last one! As it turned out the winner never showed up and the people from this charity hightailed it out of there because a riot was about to break out. They had said you had to be present to win and when the winner wasn't present they wouldn't redraw. Luckily the Leps took the stage and everyone ran to their seats instead of killing these women.

The Leps started off with "Ring of Fire". I thought the crowd was really receptive. I know I was. From where I stood it looked like the crowd was on their feet for the whole show. I managed to sneak in a digital camera, but was in the second section back and the zoom just wasn't enough to get a good shot. Everyone was in great shape. Joe's vocals sounded great! Joe looked fantastic in black leather pants and a black shirt with a shiny silver jacket on. The funny thing was that my friend wanted to buy a jacket just like it that morning and I told her she couldn't because Joe would probably be wearing it. LOL As it turned out, HE DID! I nearly died laughing. Not at his attire, but at the coincidence.

We all got to sing Happy Birthday to Phil when a girl brought a cake out with, I think, four candles on it. He blew out the candles and kissed the girl. Lucky girl! I'm surprised Anita didn't bring his cake out. Maybe she wasn't there. Viv, as usual looked like he was having the time of his life. Running around and everything. Then there's Sav. What can I say, except OMG!. He looked awesome! The band as a whole sounded great. For awhile there it almost sounded like they were playing the records instead of doing them live. That's how good it sounded! Joe said something during the concert to the effect of "We're back, not that we ever left, and we'll be back again!"

I thought the crowd was pretty receptive to the new songs, especially "Four Letter Word". I can't think of anything else about the show that was funny or stands out, but it was awesome. My friend wasn't a big Lep fan before the show, but was so impressed afterwards that she went out and bought "X" and two other Lep CD's!.
