We're only here because of Neil Diamond! Let me explain. We promised ourselves before this tour that we'd play in-the-round in the UK and the US (that's why we didn't play Whitley Bay, because we would have brought the roof down - literally!). So when we were told that we'd have to do Pittsburgh at one end, we said NOT!

But it has to be said that Pittsburgh is a very important area for us, so we weren't too happy about not playing there. So after much research, it turned out that good old Neil Diamond had this transportable roof. So we rented it off him for a not-too-shabby fee, and hey presto! - Def Leppard in Pittsburgh!

Next time I hear 'Cracklin' Rose' the radio, I'll say, 'Thanks Neil' - before I switch channels.
