The venue was located in the city centre with the newer Perth Arena (now RAC Arena) standing up the street from where this venue used to be.
It was opened in December 1974 as Channel 7 Edgley Entertainment Centre.
In 1975 it was renamed as Perth Entertainment Centre.
The venue was closed in 2002 and then demolished in 2011/2012.
Perth is located on the South West coast of Australia some 2,443 miles West of Sydney with most of the other major cities played by international bands located much closer to Sydney in the East and South East of the country.
Def Leppard's first ever In The Round show or arena show of any kind in Australia and opening night of the tour.
'Adrenalize' would later go on to reach 2x Platinum status in Australia and also go Platinum in New Zealand.
Australian band B.B. Steal (Beg Borrow Steal) were the support band on this first full length Australian tour.
Phil Collen had produced one of their singles and co-produced their debut album 'On The Edge' in Sydney and Canada on a break from making 'Adrenalize'.
Phil later explained he had met lead singer Craig Csongrady in 1984 when his band Boss supported Def Leppard in Sydney.

The poster shows the 22nd July show in Sydney as having been changed from Tuesday July 28th to "Wednesday July 22th".
It appears a single show in Sydney was announced for the 28th before being moved to the 22nd and a second night added.
