The venue was located in the Laguna Hills area of California not far from Phil Collen's home and 45 miles south east of Los Angeles city centre.

It was opened in August 1981 as Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre until 1999.

It was named as the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre from 2000 to 2014 before reverting back to the original name.

The venue was closed down on 30th October 2016 and turned into a housing development.

Footage from this venue was seen in the Tour Manager's video by then tour manager Ian Jeffery.

'Rock! Rock!' opened the show for the only known time followed by the rarely played 'Run Riot'.

A decent quality audience recording exists from this show.

A recording of Europe's opening set has surfaced in recent years.
