The first show by the band in this city since February 1980 on the On Through The Night tour.

The venue is located directly on the seafront in this seaside resort city and not far from Bournemouth Pier.

It was opened in September 1984.

The show took place inside the venue's main Windsor Hall.

The opening night of the UK tour with Loverboy in support who replaced Poison before the tour started.

Poison also pulled out of the European dates to be replaced by M.S.G.

Poison's logo had appeared on the tour posters (See Photo Galleries).

'Armageddon It' returned to the setlist with 'Animal' played as the first encore track due to it's popularity.

'Tear It Down' was played for the only known time on the 1988 UK tour at this opening show and like 1987, it was introduced as being on the next album.
