The venue was located in the city centre and within the grounds of the Boise State University and close to the Albertsons Stadium.

It was opened in May 1982 as BSU Pavilion.

From 2004 to 2019 it was known as Taco Bell Arena.

Since 2019 it has been called ExtraMile Arena.

The initial 1987 tour schedule had the band playing here on 4th December 1987 before the tour listings were updated.
