  • Location / Amsterdam, Holland/Netherlands
  • Venue / Jaap Edenhal / Japp Eden Hall

The first show by the band in this city since February 1983 on the Pyromania tour.

The second time at this venue.

The venue is located to the South East of the city centre and within a sports complex and is used as an indoor ice skating rink.

It was opened in 1973.

It hosted concerts from at least early 1975 until late 1992.

Press interviews at the time confirm Joe lost his voice after this gig causing the next two shows (in Brussels and San Sebastian) to be cancelled.

This was confirmed by a local fan. The next played show was in Madrid.

A decent audience recording exists from this show which does not include 'Travellin' Band' (may or may not have been played).

Joe introduced 'Rock of Ages' with "Amster-damage, I got something to say!".

He also referred to the June 1987 Park Pop festival show in Den Haag as being "a disaster".
