A third night in this city and at this venue.

The 11th time at this venue and third of three nights here.

The venue is located in the Hammersmith area of the city next to the Hammersmith Flyover/A4 road and not far from the River Thames and Riverside Studios which the band would play in June 1999 for the 'TFI Friday' TV show.

It was opened in March 1932 as the Gaumont Palace.

It was then given its most famous name of Hammersmith Odeon from 1962 to 1992.

After that it became Labatt's Apollo (1992-1996), Hammersmith Apollo (1996-2002, 2006-2009 and 2013), Carling Apollo Hammersmith (2002-2006), HMV Hammersmith Apollo (2009-2012).

It was redeveloped in 2013 when it was given its current name of Eventim Apollo.

'Armageddon It' was again played instead of 'Hysteria'.

The second time Brian May of Queen appeared at a Def Leppard show.

He joined them for a cover of 'Now I'm Here' at the end of the show.

The band held a celebratory party following this gig at Drone's nightclub in the Knightsbridge area of the city.

It was attended by Brian May, members of Spandau Ballet, Iron Maiden, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, WASP, Tesla and Zodiac Mindwarp.

Joe had to recover the next morning for an appearance on the SKY TV show 'Monsters Of Rock' with Mick Wall.

He wore sunglasses for the first part of the interview.
