  • Event / A Concert Rehearsal/A Live Rehearsal

The first show by the band in this city.

The first time at this venue.

The venue is located in the city centre on Lapp's Quay by the River Lee.

It was opened in 1963.

It has hosted concerts as well as conferences, exhibitions and banquets.

It is currently used by the SIPTU (Services Industrial Professional and Technical Union).

The first of six Irish warm-up shows to prepare for the upcoming Monsters Of Rock festival tour.

The first time Rick Allen had played live with Def Leppard since losing his left arm on New Year's Eve 1984 outside of a small pub show in Sheffield with friends.

Rick played the first three songs on his own with Status Quo drummer Jeff Rich joining in after that for the rest of the show.

Two news songs from 'Hysteria' were debuted - '(Don't Give Me) Love And Affection' (as introduced by Joe) and 'Run Riot'.

The band played a longer set on this Irish warm-up tour including 'BOTH/Switch 625' which were not played on the Monsters Of Rock shows.

The setlist also included the first performances of 'Too Late For Love' and two as yet unreleased tracks from the upcoming 'Hysteria' album.
