It is also next to the 63,132 capacity Oakland Coliseum stadium currently known as RingCentral Coliseum which was first opened in September 1966.

It was opened in November 1966 as Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum Arena and renovated in 1996/1997.

From 1997 to 2005 it was known as The Arena At Oakland.

From 2006 to 2019 it was known as Oracle Arena.

Since 2019 it has been called Oakland Arena.
