The club was owned and run by Danny Seraphine, the drummer for the band Chicago.
The club was named after the Chicago song "Beginnings".
It closed down for good in 2007.
It was billed as "the concert club of the Midwest" and known for booking up and coming bands.
A recently discovered show which confirms the band's April 1983 Odessa, TX show was in fact their second USA headline show and not the first as previously though.
It's likely (but not confirmed) that the band may have reverted to their headline setlist from the April 1980 UK tour for this headline show.
