  • Location / Dayton/Trotwood, OH, USA
  • Venue / Hara Arena
  • Event / Heavy Metal Sunday

The first show by the band in this city.

The first time at this venue.

The venue is located in Trotwood which is a city and suburb 6.4 miles North West of the city centre of Dayton.

It is also known locally as the Trotwood Dome.

It was opened in 1954.

The venue was closed in August 2016 and is set to be demolished.

In May 2019 the arena building was damaged when a major storm and tornado hit the local area.

The show was billed as 'Heavy Metal Sunday' and sponsored by local radio station 104.7 WTUE.

The first of the second leg of shows supporting Judas Priest (along with Scorpions) having already played with them in May/June in Texas.

The Scorpions original tour poster included a show in Portland, ME for this date before the schedule was changed.

The likely venue for this would have been the Cumberland County Civic Center.
