  • Location / West Runton/Cromer, England
  • Venue / West Runton Pavilion

The first show by the band in this this seaside town in Norfolk.

The first time at this venue.

The venue was located on the coast behind The Village Inn in what is now the car park.

It was opened in the 1940s as the North Norfolk Pavilion and demolished in 1986.

A Blue Plaque has since been placed on the wall of the Village Inn to commemorate the Pavilion which mentions it hosted "concerts by legendary pop, rock and punk artists" including Chuck Berry, T. Rex, Black Sabbath and the Sex pistols.

The band were reportedly paid 100 pounds for this show.

Radio One DJ Andy Peebles, who the band had recorded a radio session for earlier in the year, was the DJ at this show.
