The front side of the picture disc featured a back background with the classic Def Leppard logo in the middle along with a front cover sticker in the top left.

The other side featured a smaller version of the logo at the top and at the bottom the track names and credits.

A radio edit of the song was included on UK and US 1-track promo CDs featuring a picture sleeve.

The black card inside the plastic sleeve featured all of the June/July 2008 UK tour dates.

The release of the single coincided with the start of leg 2 in Cardiff, Wales.

'C'mon C'mon' was later used in the USA by the NHL who played the song during hockey games. Although an appearance at the NHL Rocks Off event on October did not go according to plan for everyone in the band.

Phil Collen - 2008 Interview Quotes

"C'mon C'mon was the key to it, really. We've been trying to write a hockey anthem for awhile. Whenever you go to a hockey games, they always play "Rock and Roll (Part 2)" by Gary Glitter, and growing up in England in the '70s, we were very influenced by that kind of stuff."

"We had this song on 'Euphoria' album called 'Back In Your Face', which was very much along those lines, but that didn't work out. But with 'C'mon C'mon' we started getting interest, and then the NHL asked us to do the kickoff of the season. We were like, "Wow, this is [perfect"."

Joe Elliott - June 2011 Interview Quotes

"When Sav wrote "C'mon C'mon," three, four years ago, I actually turned around to him and said, "I can hear this in hockey arenas."

"It wasn't like it was manufactured to be in one, it's just that kind of music that gets used, whether it be hockey or basketball or football."

"And, lo and behold, we were on tour, and days off you're flicking through the channels and occasionally you just get to one of these things, hearing "C'mon C'mon" getting played!."
