Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott appeared on the latest episode of the Life In The Stocks podcast to promote the Pyromania 40 box set.
The 40th anniversary 'Pyromania 40 Super Deluxe Edition' is released on Friday 26th April 2024 via Universal Music Recordings.
The release follows a year of band celebrations on social media using the #pyromania40 hashtag and recent video teasers.
Joe Elliott On Life In The Stocks
Joe recently appeared on the latest episode of the Life In The Stocks podcast with host Matt Stocks.
He talked about - "stadiums tours with Motley Crue and the shenanigans that went down on the road to the working class roots of Def Leppard and what's held the band together over all these years." and the Pyromania album.
Miley Cyrus/New Year's Eve Concert
Joe revealed that Def Leppard had been asked to take part in a New Year's Eve concert by Miley Cyrus in 2023.
He was unable to take apart due to family commitments.
Joe recalled working with her during the September 2022 Taylor Hawkins Memorial Concert in Los Angeles and says they will likely work together again.

Joe also talked about working with Taylor Swift.
Including the 2008 CMT Crossroads show and her Def Leppard influence via her mother.

2023 New Year's Eve Show
"She wanted us to do a show for New Years but I just couldn't commit to it because I had family commitments I'd already set my heart on months before."
"But I've no doubt that we'll work together again one day because there was a chemistry there when we did the rehearsals."
"We sat around afterwards we'd done our finished our performance and before we did our performance watching the other bands on the screen and just talking."
"And just you know it was like we'd known her forever there was a connection through music more than anything else."
"And so I think some of her fans will acknowledge respect for us but I don't think they go running out to buy tons of our record."
