Def Leppard's Pyromania 40th anniversary Super Deluxe Edition box set is out now in the UK and can also be streamed.

The 40th anniversary 'Pyromania 40 Super Deluxe Edition' is released today, Friday 26th April 2024, via Universal Music Recordings.

The release follows a year of band celebrations on social media using the #pyromania40 hashtag and recent video teasers.

Out Now In The UK

It is now Friday 26th April in the UK and Ireland and the box set is now available here.

It was out first as ever in New Zealand earlier today closely followed by Australia, Japan and now all over Asia, Africa and Europe.

No You Can't Do That/Demos/Rough Mixes

View the full tracklisting below which include the lost 11th track 'No You Can't Do That' and its demo version.

This rediscovered track is an instrumental as are all of the demo versions.

One of the most interesting of these is 'Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)' which still has similar 'old school/NWOBHM' sounding sections reminiscent of the song 'Medicine Man' from which they borrowed the main riff.

The six Untitled demos are quite surprising in that they mostly sound like they could have been demos for the 'On Through The Night' album songs.

The Rough Mixes also have a couple of songs that sound quite different to the full album versions.

'Action! Not Words' is mostly instrumental without any vocals on the verses and has only the main backing vocals on the chorus.

'Rock Of Ages' has the 'You know what I'm talking about' line by Joe in the intro that was later taken out.

There are also keyboard parts in 'Die Hard The Hunter' that were later taken out and a whole line that was later removed from 'Billy's Got A Gun'.

'Billy's Got A Gun' also has a spooky ending with the 'Bang Bang' part playing in the background as the music ends instead of in the gap.

The song also fades and does not go into the instrumental.
